Collecting Primary Data

Primary research is important as I can fit it directly to my project. It's also good to develop my skills and increase validity.
My primary research will either be a questionnaire or verbal interview on views of astrology. I will think of some questions and ask my mentor if they are suitable for my project, checking for leading questions and too much quantitative data being collected. I will gather the general public's opinions and what their knowledge is before moving into scientific parts of my research.
I will be careful to avoid the mum test (not getting general feedback because your family and friends want to please you) and the best self model (people put forward what they think is their best self so the data gathered isn't valid) to avoid demand characteristics.

This is a website that is a platform for people to agree/disagree and post their reasons why. People can also comment on other’s opinion perhaps asking questions or counteracting their ideas.

What I was hoping to find out

I wanted to see different opinions of Astrology to look at both sides of the argument.

I learned there are many reasons to be for or against astrology.

The source is from an ‘.org’ website meaning it’s from a non-profit organisation. Everything on this website is opinion based and information given is very subjective.

Where next?

I will include the information I found in this source in my project and continue to research about astrology.
