Source Evaluation

Accessed: March 2019

Brief Summary
This opinion article explain how astrology has become ‘trendy’ again within newspapers and magazines directed at women. New mobile applications have been made that are more specific as it uses your whole natal chart rather than just you sun sign (as they have in the past).

What I was hoping to find out
Why astrology has become popular again and how much the general public have learnt since the last time it was popular.

What I learned from the source
Not all people take astrology seriously. They may take the time to learn more about it but not apply it to themselves and actually believe it and use it in their lives.

Reliability of the source
This source is an opinion article from the New York Times so it is not very reliable.

Where next?
Look for reasons why astrology has become more popular with millennials.

Astrology has some elements of science but is too subjective to be considered as fully scientific.
